What does patch for Crysis improve?

It`s been quite a long time, since the shooter Crysis was released, however, there is still no update for the game. According to the developers, they themselves do not know when a new patch will be released, but they do have certain assumptions concerning what is going to be included in the package.
The patch is going to optimize the game`s performance under different systems (considering project`s requiring a lot of resources, it is more than necessary). In addition, some of the settings will be made in the multiplayer mode. The authors warn that this will not be a full patch, but only a modest update. So we have a lot of time to wait for a "big" update for the favorite game.
