A new version of the popular program for working with virtual CD and DVD discs has been released. The program allows you to create exact copies of disks, work with their images as with real media. A large number of settings allows creating image of even protected discs. The settings of emulator include the following options: improved scanning segments, reading sub-channel data from the current disks, emulating bad sectors, emulating RMPS (physical signiture of the recorded disk), etc...In emulator configurations theer is also the ability to set regional code of the virtual drive.
In addition, the program has a wizard for recording CD and DVD discs. Another advantage of the programs is that except its format Media Descriptor (*. mds), the emulator supports image formats, made by the programs Blindread, CloneCD, DiscJuggler, Instant CD / DVD, Nero, etc...
Together with Alcohol 120% the free program Alcohol 52% has been updated, meant only for creation of virtual disks and allowing you to create up to 32 such devices.
The latest version introduces a new engine for reading and recording, increases buffer memory for the 64 - bit systems, updates SPTD layer, corrects errors, updates language modules and help file, adds support of additional devices.
