Autodesk extends functionality of AutoCAD 2009

Autodesk Corporation reported on the availability of two valuable addons to their popular CAD solution AutoCAD 2009.
Proposed components are distributed through the Autodesk Subscription, and extend the original product`s functionality, thus, allowing users to work more efficiently. One of the proposed components called PDF Import and Underlay facilitates interaction of engineers with suppliers, customers and partners through expanded support of the popular format PDF.
Specialists will have the opportunity to import materials of the project to multilayer compact PDF files maintaining control over individual objects of the drawing. Besides, users will be able to appreciate the support of TrueType fonts.
The second of these Â«bonusÂ» packages significantly accelerates production of physical 3D-models and prototypes based on drawings prepared in AutoCAD 2009. After installing the addon of Bonus Pack 3 specialists will be able to communicate with providers of three-dimensional printing directly from the interface of a product.
