If anything of this sort is going to happen then something greater than technology has to be changed. The companies and many of the IT organizations must adapt themselves to this new technology. There should be a change done to how IT works to get the full benefit of the cloud computing. If the organizations would not adapt themselves, they would never be able to get the complete advantages of the cloud computing in the true sense. Some of the IT workload will be given to this cloud and this will definitely need some other type of the IT skills as well as the management approaches, which will be really different from the usual data center approaches.

These new adaptation might include the ones like strategy questions, for example to decide the standards that are to be followed on the cloud computing, the workloads which would be exported to the cloud and which ones will not be, and also deciding how the issues related to security as well as privacy will be addressed on the cloud.
