First addon for Halo3 is available for download

Bungie Studios, recently separated from the Microsoft Corporation, has released the first official addition for the shooter Halo 3, called Heroic Map Pack.
The set includes three new maps for multiplayer game-location Standoff (spacious map for medium-scaled battles), Rat 's Nest (closed map for large-scale fights) and Foundry (industrial complex for game in the Forge mode), reports GameSpot.
Heroic Map Pack can be purchased for $ 10, through an online shop Xbox Live Marketplace. But already next spring you will be able to download it for free, just in the time of the regular update.
Halo 3, which was assigned "M" rank (Mature, for players from 17 years), went on sale on the 25th of September in three versions. The normal version costs 60 dollars, and Limited Edition Legendary Edition cost 70 and 130 dollars, respectively. Legendary Edition, delivered in a special box, in addition to the game, includes disk with a variety of bonuses, the booklet with the concept-art and other pleasant trifles.
