Flash Player 9 supports H 264
14th December 2007
The company Adobe has released a new version of Flash Player 9 Update 3, which includes support of video H.264 and audio format High Efficiency AAC. In addition, the new version of the program, which is known under the code name Moviestar, presents fullscreen video playback, support of multi-processor systems and hardware video cards features.
The technology H.264 is already supported by the most recent versions of the programs Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Adobe also promises to include support of this technology into Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) and the applications developed with the help of this platform, including Adobe Media Player. Remember that the corporate player from Adobe was submitted in April. Its release is scheduled for early next year.
