23rd December 2007
After series of "Tuesdays patches" of satisfying quality, Microsoft did not manage to keep on going this way: one of the December security newsletters is likely to cause the release of "a patch for a patch ". On the 11th of December, the company issued a bulletin MS07-069 designed to fix a critical vulnerability in Internet Explorer. According to Microsoft, this is the most dangerous error of all eliminated in December. After installing the patch, users found that IE either won`t open, or won`t download many sites.
Users report on failures of IE 6 and 7 both under Windows XP and Vista. Microsoft began solving the problem identified and is going to update the section related to MS07-069,” -comments Mark Miller, responsible for Microsoft`s products security.
