Microsoft Partners With Temenos For The Purpose Of Core Banking

According to one press release, the Redmond, Washington office of Microsoft Corp. teams up with Temenos Group AG of Geneva for the purpose of delivering the Temenos T24 system for core banking on the SQL server of Microsoft. The senior research director Robert Hunt of TowerGroup has said while commenting on this agreement during a press release, that the operating platform software of Microsoft Corp. and also the .Net architecture of the company can give the scalability and functionality which is comparable with the platforms which are Unix based as well as with the mainframe. Hunt further stated that leading vendors of the global core also offer the version which is based on Windows for the systems of core processing. He said that with the help of these offering the more of the larger banks will be allowed to choose a Windows platform while they are implementing a new core system.
In this agreement, both the companies will be collaborating with each other in closer manner and will be fully making use of the SQL server platform of Microsoft Corporation with Temenos T24. it has been said by the companies that will the help of this many of the large scale banks will get the opportunity to have greater operational efficiencies.
