Microsoft has released an unscheduled patch for a critical bug in Internet Explorer.
The gap was discovered 2 weeks ago. The vulnerability can be used by hackers for the purpose of unauthorized access to the remote machine to execute an arbitrary code. Organizing the attack requires luring a user to visit a specially formed Web site.
The problem affects all versions of Internet Explorer, and crackers around the world are already actively exploiting the vulnerability. According to some reports, the gap has already been used to hack about two million computers worldwide.
