The popular resource TorrentFreak published the top ten of game novelties, most popular with pirates.
The two top positions are occupied with the games a the well-known game designer Will Wright. The Sims 2 (about 1 150 000 pirated copies) is at the second position, losing to the fresh Strategy Spore (1 700 000 downloads). Spore publishers themselves provoked the interest of pirates to their product, having equipped the game with the DRM-system, not allowing users to install a licensed version more than three times. Well, serves them right. The third place belongs to Assassins Creed (1 070 000 downloads). The remaining positions look as follows:
Crysis (940 000 downloads).
Command & Conquer 3 (860 000 downloads).
Call of Duty 4 (830 000 downloads).
GTA San Andreas (740 000 downloads).
Fallout 3 (645 000 downloads).
Far Cry 2 (585 000 downloads).
Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 (470 000 downloads).
