RasterVect 14.2: turning raster images into vector ones
9th December 2008
RasterVect is a tool for converting raster images (including those scanned) into the following formats: DXF, WMF, EMF, EPS and AI. These types of files are used in programs AutoCAD, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Microstation, VectorWorks, TrueCAD, FastCAD etc. RasterVect has a convenient interface and converts files quickly and correctly.
Users of RasterVect should remember that a raster image they want to converted to vector format must be black-and-white, with no gradations of shades of gray color. The entire process takes seconds. There is also a possibility of back conversion, from vector to raster.
The latest version adds support of raster images of large size.
