Red Hat's Virtualization Protocol Made Open

Red Hat has released its SPICE protocol, which is an open source community and is intended for the virtual desktops. The SPICE protocol, which stands for Simple protocol for independent computing environment, is one major component in the enterprise virtualization of the distributors of Linux for the products of the desktops. The current version of this protocol is beta and is planned to be made available to the general public during the coming year. The possession of this spice protocol by Red Hat was done in the month of September during the year 2008 acquisition of the Qumranet.
This particular technology has been designed for the desktops that are making use of the remote servers for the purpose of the data processing. The user experience has also been improved with the help of the Spice protocol. It does so while it renders the applications which are intensive about the bandwidth like the applications of video or the ones which use voice over IP.
The officer for the chief technology of Red Hat named Brian Stevens, has said in one statement that this Spice protocol has been designed with the intent of optimizing the performance by adapting automatically to the environments of communications and graphics on which it is running, so the vendors get a good opportunity to improve their particular applications.
