A teacher, for the town County Durham, has been appointed as the "tweeter in residence". Mike McTimoney will use Twitter-updates. It will help people in knowing about the latest and fresh events, which will be organized in Darlington. These updates will be published under the name of "tweets" the Darlington Partnership, which is behind this scheme has disclosed that the messages, which will be uploaded by the teacher, will also be displayed on Dx2 website.
Mike is being paid big bucks for this task. He is getting £140/year for the purpose of tweeting under the name of TheDarloBard. Mike has said that he has been actively involved in social media and has been utilizing and availing all the opportunities, which Internet has been offering. And this is the time, when he can do more interesting work.
