Shinji Mikami will not play Resident Evil 5, no way!

Shinji Mikami is sure a person worth listening to. He is not simply the founder of the series Resident Evil, but also the producer of several major projects from Capcom, including Viewtiful Joe and Devil May Cry. It was he, who insisted on modifying Resident Evil 4, thus, turning it into one of the best games of our time. Taking into consideration all abovementioned, we were shocked to hear Mikami, in his interview to the Official PlayStation magazine, saying he is not going to play Resident Evil 5.
The developer does not want to play the fifth part, because, had he a chance, he would have made quite a different thing. The specialist also threatened his former superiors that if Resident Evil 5 is of low quality, he will be very angry.
Now Mikami is working in the studio Platinum Games, where he moved with several other specialists, including the creators of Okami.
