The popular program for internet communication Skype has been updated. The latest version updates the plugin for Internet Explorer, improves work with audio devices, updates language modules, corrects errors related to conference-calls, to displaying search contacts window.
The version 3.6 gives the possibility to make high-quality video-calls. Provided the presence of 2 core processor, Internet connection speed of at least 384 Kb per second and the program Logitech QuickCam 11.5, Skype 3.6 can make video chatting with a resolution of 640x480 pixels with 30 frames per second. Video calls are free of charge.
Video of high quality is supported by the webcams of Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000, QuickCam Pro for Notebooks and QuickCam Sphere. To be able to do high-quality video calls, all owners of these webcams must download a new version of the driver Logitech QuickCam 11.5.
