Sound in Guitar Hero III` is monophonic

Some users of Wii-version of the musical game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, went on sale at the end of October, published on the official forum of the project their complaints on the quality of sound in the game. According to the players, during the game monophonic sound can be heard from the speakers, although there is support of the standard of Dolby Pro Logic II is declared on the box.
The game`s publisher, the company Activision, almost immediately recognized the problem and announced eliminating the error together with the developer of Wii consoles, Nintendo Company. According to GameSpot, the other day the representatives of Activision reported that at the beginning of next year updated versions of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock will come out with improved sound. In doing so, the current owners of the game will be able to exchange their copy to the new one for free.
It is noticeable, that Guitar Hero III was developed by the Neversoft studio. The studio of Harmonix Music Systems, responsible for issuing the first part of Guitar Hero, is currently a member of Electronic Arts, and in mid-November produced the game Rock Band, a direct competitor to Guitar Hero III.
According to the analysis company NPD Group, at the end of October, 286000 copies Guitar Hero III for Wii consoles were sold. Apart from the owners of Wii, Guitar Hero III is available for owners of PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
