So where the Dual S401E supports 4X for all DVD R media, the new Dual S801I supports up to 8X.Moreover, the Dual S801I supports 4X for DVD-R, 2X for DVD RW and DVD-RW, and 2.4X recording speed for Double Layer media. Finally, the Dual S801I can write and rewrite CDs at 24X speed.
