ClamWin is a Microsoft Windows antivirus tool available for Win 98, ME, 2000 XP, 2003, and Vista. It has an installer that is easy to use. It is a freeware app with open source code. ClamWin detects spyware and viruses quickly at a high rate. It comes with scheduler for scanning and has regular virus footprint updates automatically downloaded and added to its virus database. ClamWin scans the attachments from Outlook, protecting you further by removing attachments that are infected. It must be noted, however, that ClamWin has no scanner executing in real time from online access. To identify spyware or a virus, you must manually initiate the scanning against a specific file.
