PDFCreator’s name tells all, that this app is for generating PDFs out of nearly any Windows compatible program. It is free for both personal and commercial use, and it is open source. You can encrypt your PDFs to prevent them from being opened, or printed, or edited. You can share your PDFs by email. But your tool can generate other types of files, PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PCX, PS, EPS, just to name a few. You can setup autosave criteria for specific files and folders. You can merge many files into one PDF. You can install on a single PC or on a server for use by many users – it executes on Terminal Server with no issues at all. The free use download is under the GNU Public License terms.
