PowerPoint View (PPV) gives you viewing / read access to any .ppt files. It will open MS PowerPoint files that are protect by password, allowing to view / read them, but also to print them. Note that you will be unable to edit them with PPV. It is important to also note that after you install PPV, it is highly recommended that you immediately follow on by installing all updates that are ‘high priority” from MS Update.

MS PowerPoint features that are NOT PPV compatible are: IRM presentations (Information Rights Management), macro execution, program executions, activating embedded or linked objects.

PPV will tie itself to any .ppt, .pot, and .pps file format types if and only if PowerPoint itself is not installed on the same machine. Once registered on the machine, double click these types to initiate PPV
