I bought the video and audio converter. Overall a very nice Product but YOU HAVE TO RE-REGISTER EVERYTIME YOU START YOUR COMPUTER. MAJOR BUG.

I hate all software which appear and download as FREE and ask you to pay when you start using. AVS dvd ripper is no different. After the download, a pop up came "thanking" me for downloading the 'evaluation version'. The evaluation thing was not mentioned during download. This one will leave a 'watermark' in the middle on all converted files. What a way to fool people!! So I decided to boycott everything that this company produces, even if they sell it at 1 $. Bottom line - I have not tested the software. It may or may not be good. The approach sucks, big time. Download only if you are prepared to pay about 50$. (perhaps more later - cant be sure, with this attitude)

The whole yearly subscription thing sucks. And every time you restore from an image backup or change video card etc. it says you subscrition has expired needing to get it fixed with technical support. The software is good, so I suggest you buy the extortion yearly subscription, but then download a cracked version and save yourself endless activation hassles.
