I wanted to make a back up of a Cher CD. I downloaded it, I use XP Pro for an OS. I copied and burned the cd in less than 30 minutes. Easy to use. Fast. Did not take alot of my computers resources. Excellent.

Really good editing software with almost perfect price/functions available ratio. May be a bit on the overpriced side, but if you use price comparison webiste (Deprice, Froogle, Shopping.Com, PriceGrabber, etc) you can find a good deal. I got mine at a 10% off discount (http://www.deprice.com/ripeditburn.htm) Look at eBay, too.

The new version is really good. I just bought their add-on for cleaning up recordings and got rid of some 60 cycle hum that no other tool touched. I don't know why somebody said it doesn't run under XP- it does.
