The program would not even open the very first WAV file I tried. Said it did not recognize format, yet the Wav plays in Windows, RealPlay, and Windows Media!

I didn't find any adware in this. Guess you had some other version. It opened Wave files and Mp3 perfectly. Simple for a first-timer to use!
