I found mk3 of CompreXX to be buggy, and the developers arrogant and unhelpful. When I reported two bugs to the developers, here's the response I received: "It works fine for us here. If you're not happy with it, why not try www.7zip.org. It would save us both undue frustration - I really cannot provide support for a $29.95 product without a support plan." ... followed by ... "You know what, I couldn't care less about how offended you feel by our lack of support. A ~maybe~ $29.95 purchase is just not worth my time. And I really don't care if this hurts your feelings, although I do find it amusing of course. Feel free to go ahead and publish my responses, including this one - I always love to have people do free advertising work for me."
