DVD Cloner II is a cunningly repackaged plagarised version of DVD Shrink 3.1, which is a SHAREWARE application. That said, call it what you will, the application does a very respectable job a creating backup copies of your favourite DVD movie, squeezing D9 movies onto 4.5GB DVd's. The quality suffers a little due to compression but all in all very acceptable and watchable. The question remains, do you want to pay for a reloaded version of DVD Shrink, or, download the original FOC with due respect to the Shareware licence?

DVD-CLONER II IS PURE CRAP. MANDATORY REGISTRATION IS A NIGHTMARE AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTANT. NO REPLY TO EMAIL 3 DAYS. WORKED FINE A FEW TIMES THEN HUNG UP. SEVERAL UNSUCCESFUL ATTEMPTS TO RE-INSTALL. DON'T BUY IT. TRY ANOTHER COPIER.

This program is pasted all over the net like its the best thing going. Its simply a sham. They have hidden DVD shrink in the backround. DVD shrink is freeware and can be easily downloaded. Its a small simple to use program that makes excellent copies and is very easy to use. Please Spread the word.

I was able to burn only about 5 dvds before mine started "not responding" too. Also tried reinstalling several times to no avail. I have sent an email to them and am waiting on a response.

DVD Cloner II V 2.62: Reviews makes it sound like the best deal, also sale price was $30, more for a back up. Do not use a Sony VAIO / Product. Especially if you are backing up Sony Movies like Hotel Rowanda. Because of the security embedded unto the Original DVD you will need more space, therefore the Cloner will prompt you to use "Split disk". Parts of the Movie will be lost. Also Some movies you will not be able to copy ( it will appears as you are copying but not-wasted time). Finally playback on Sony player may not work.

This product sucks, it doesn't even burn right, and they say they have a 30 day money back guarantee. It's been less than a week since I bought it, and I have asked for a refund 4 times now and have yet to receive it. Don't throw your money away.
