is this really free??!! i bought a firewire/USB2 case and a LG DVD writer. after putting it all together, i attached it using firewire and bleh! nero didn't recognize it as an external writer. and then it's google time. found DeepBurner, installed it, and all my problems magically disappeared. it automatically detected my frankenstine dvd writer and i was able to burn burn burn!!! thank you AstonSoft.

At least for my system, this beat out all the other CD-burning options--and I tried at least a half-dozen of them. Easy drop-and-drag interface, a multitude of burning speeds, etc. made it by far the easiest to use and best-performing.
