| | It does what it promieses to do nothing more nothing less, and i've had no problems with it in win2k, the earlier versions had a bug that dubbled the diskspace (free and used) about every 10 minutes but that seems to be gone now. |

| | When I first used the software, I am surprised at how fast my applications run but there is a problem that is to be seriously taken of. When you get to reinstall any windows OS you must uninstall Virtual Drive because the registry entry located at HKEY_Local Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\cdawdm suddenly gets corrupted when you don't uninstall Virtual Drive first, that's why this problem must be seriously taken of. Not only the registry file gets corrupted, but It made me do the worse thing, reinstall Windows. Because no matter registry hack you do you can't repair the corrupted part of the registry. |

| | The software has always worked perfectly. The only drawback is that the version I use, 7, can not successfully handle several types of CD protection schemes and will not copy the CD properly to my hard drive. Later versions are supposed to take care of some of these issues, but I have not moved up to the new version yet. At the very least, version 7 works for me without a hitch on XP Pro. |

| | Cannot recommend the product. Does not install well on XP. When it does install, VD hijacks the drive letters mapped to network drives. I gave up in disgust and have placed the CD, manual and box in the pile for my wife's next yard sale. If you insist on using VD, make sure you set a restore point prior to the install. The uninstall does NOT remove all the files. |

| | I tried the Demo to test it and the Demo doesn't do anything. If you try to make an image, a window pops up and tells you, that you have to buy it. I can't find any reviews other than the sales pitch.
Has anyone bought and tried the full version? Let me know if it is good.

I just had to completely rebuild a server (10+ hours) because it decided to change the C: drive letter to another partion on a server2003 partion. Means you can't get to the SAM or anything else for that matter. No warning, nothing in the documentation. |

Price is good compared to every other product I found, but money spent was wasted.
Online support is minimal.
Will not buy again, and espeacially from a non-american company. |

| | Awful is actually too nice. The product did not open or work ever. Customer and Tech service took a minimum of 5 days to respond. There is no phone number to call. I asked for my guaranteed refund in June. This is the last week of Sept. and I still have no refund. I have gotten the run around since June and very poor and slow replies to any refund questions. Numerous claims that they cannot find my records after I have sent them copies several times. Dont waste your time or money. |

| | I have an ASUS m2n-x with an nforce 520 achi controller and Acronis and Paragon couldn't leave my 2x500gb samsung discs in basic mode when imagiging an image file from disc 1 to ext USB drive and would always assume Raid mode and stuff up my other Hard Drive layout (overwrite it as though it was raid1 mirror image of c drive!)
This was the only Solution that Worked. Better than Acronis or Paragon (fine for single SATA or IDE). Maybe not as pretty looking for the startup disc but i want reliability an R-Drive is king of Hard Disk Drive Image backups in basic mode while on nforce Raid controller in(ACHI(NCQ Mode)mode) ! |

So I contacted their online chat support and asked them what seemed to be a simple question; "Which encryption method is fastest?" They had no idea. It has great customer support - they walked me through how to use the product before I even purchased it - but the program was still easy to use and the directions were clearly worded.
