Program just didn't work for me so I was asked by DVD-Cloner's tech support to purchase NERO on top of their software to "check if it works then." What am I? Croesus?
Here are their verbatim replies to my request for a refund:
"Please tell us about your problem first, we will consider a refund to you if we cannot fix your problem."
"Thank you for writing to us.What about trying again before requesting a refund?
We can refund you if it is due to the quality problem of our software and it must within one month since you ordered it .
"Please download Nero 6.0.0.11 and register it before run dvd-cloner.
Also , you can find its registration message at the same link I gave you.
Please register it then have a try."
I am by no stretch of the imagination purchasing a $100 software program to make a $60 software program to work.
Their 30 day money back guarantee just isn't. They will try to sit on your money as long as they can and hope to push out the tech support so the 30 days pass and they dont' have to refund you a thing!
If the trial version doesn't work, the full version definitely won't either.
They simply do not understand that their program just doesn't work for everybody! And good customer service offers a refund no matter what.
Furthermore, their promise to get back to you within 6 hours of your email for tech support - try 2 days!!

DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE !!!!
It is very easy to use - the problem is that it doesn't work 9 out of 10 times. Without fail, the DVD backup will play to some point and then completely lockup and "Freeze". Customer support is terrible. I emailed back and forth about a dozen times trying to figure out what the problem was and each time I would get back "So sorry for your problem - please give us more info so we can help you" - just stalling until the 30 day money back guarentee expires is what I think. I finally gave up and bought a software package that I can recommend - DVD Wizard Pro. It's a little more complicated but it works great every time and actually cleans up damaged disks really well! I still haven't gotten my money back from the DVD-Cloner II clowns - probably never will.

Either this is a terrible programme, or I have no idea what I'm doing!!!
I have not had one successful burn. I've tried DVD5 and DVD9 on one disc and split disc, but nothing works the way the company boasts. Usually I get little over half a movie, or a totally corrupted disc.

You know, I did have the same problem and they toll me to get any Nero software or Alcohol out because they interfier with DVD cloner 2. Same here I'm still waiting for my money back.

Same as other folks, I had the software (it actually worked for a couple movies, then quit. Tech support is a joke, the first thing they did was direct me to an illegal copy of Nero (complete with registration codes) and now I have the runaround of having to fax them a form (no electronic copies! Don't cancel your credit card!) and they said they will process it by the 10th of next month (three weeks out).
Funny, they took my credit card real fast when I purchased it initially.
Stay away, try something else.

Smacks like a entry bu the software deveoper homself! DO NOT BUY!!!!!
The software so far fails to copy any collector DVD I have. Help is hard to come by, and meantime the files it does copy I can do myself with Windows Copy.
