I use this for HTML work and for simple word processing -- the tab feature is fabulous and the search/replace is great, although it could be a tiny bit easier to run. Switched to this from Notepad and never looked back.

This is an excellent text editor. I hope I could have more features like hidding many lines (for large block if). Side by side comparison etc. Overall this is excellent one. You may consider to buy EditPad if you found you need more features. I know Pro version can get rid of toolbars, Unix, Mac LF/CR issue. To save your $$$, There is a crack version of EditPad Pro somewhere on the web. May not updated.

The tabs allowing you to switch easily between files and the search / search and replace functions have made a big difference for me. I like being able to change the color of the text and the background to give my eyes a break form the glare of a white background.

Its fast, its easy, its allways there when you need it. /And/ it supports none-windows text-files (unix/mac)! I've been using various versions of EditPad for many years now and it has become my most wanted tool in windows.
