This guy doesn't let you re-install your OS, and we all know how important it is to do a re-format twice or sometimes three times a year especially since Microsoft Windows always breaks itself. If you re-install, you have to obtain a new license from him, and if your version is no longer supported, you have to BUY ANOTHER license from him EVEN IF THE PROGRAM STILL WORKS WITH YOUR CURRENT HARDWARE. I paid for it once, and I'd just like to stick with that version until it stops working, only then should I need to decide if I want to buy the new version or not. I purchased a license in the past, and he wouldn't give me a license after his website stopped supporting it even though it still worked fine on all current hardware. This guy is a thief. Just because he has a really great program doesn't mean he should screw people this way.

Product works fine for TravelMate 4651, that is, for HDD and CPU temperatures. Software is great. WATCH OUT FOR TWO THINGS: 1)Registration process. This is VERY COMPLICATED. For registration you are personally dependent upon the program author to send you a certification code. If you reformat your computer or buy a new computer, then each reinstallation of the software demands that you receive a code from him personally. If he is no longer around in future, you will never again be able to reinstall the software. I have paid my full price five days ago, sent numerous reminders, and still not received my certificate code. 2) Additional hidden charges. Without informing you about it ahead of payment, you are deducted a further 20% tax from your credict card account. You discover it first when you receive the invoice. Software is great, but registration and payment process unreliable.

Very good program, but very worse registration politic - I wait since two weeks for my registration codes. They didn't answer any mail !!!

I tried Speedfan as recommended and found it "fan"-tastic :) - so good that I will consider making a donation to the author. Opinions about hmonitor registration scare me away. I went to Hardware Monitor sensor website to register but found prices listed in English currency only, another reason to stop me from trying.
