Compared to other irc clients I've used, this one has the most intuitive interface and is most pleasant looking. It has cute features and prompts at appropriate places. As an irc client for chatting, it works. I don't ask for anything else in a program.

I tried another freeware IRC client called Winbot and I find IceChat much more intuitive and easy to use. I'm not a computer guru so the windows and color buttons let me just use it without having to read the Tutorial.

dont know about others but it has worked perfect and is great for irc newbies and old hands.suspect stability probs where not this programs fault but users system probs from start worked out of the box first thing perfectly.writer should be commended and has my appreciation for life,thank you for giving me irc.johnny149

It screwed my PC up very badly. Sorry Snerf, but IceChat will cost me a good half a day formatting due to the errors it made on my PC.. don't know how, but with IceChat4 on a CLEAN install of windows, and it f'd it up. It is hard to use and very unstable compared to mIRC, not using again until I know my PC won't be destroyed by it.
