Bought version 4.1 and it works just as well as the demo. Only thing I don't like is the perview window is always on top and sometimes gets in the way when flipping to other applications. The product definitely makes creating icons a simple task.

Wow, this program is SO easy! I downloaded ImageForge the other day, and I couldn't get anywhere with it. That program was impossible for *me* to use. But IconCool is wonderful ^____^

This program was wonderful until I paid for it. It WAS very easy to use and then I bought the full version which does not work the same as the free. On the free version I had the ability to SEE WHAT I WAS DOING! On the version I bought the preview window is filled with a color. Was hoping to design cool icons and support a great product - but this full version just makes me angry - and the controls make little sense. I had no trouble with the free on and I really wish this one made the first bit of sense because I really want to do the things I could with the free version.

I just tried Icon Cool because I can't stand the cruddy icons that come with Irfanview. Icon Cool went through my entire system without prompting and corrupted Windows Explorer, changed paths all around, you can't dselete files or open files, it made a real mess of things. Can't believe this is shareware and that they have the balls to ask money for it. It is more like installing a virus on your system. Stay away and don't even try it.

The program crashes all the time. The copy and paste shortcut keys don't work so you have to use the menu items. Extremely poor application.
