I've been testing this out on an Intel mac. And have found that the existing good/bad review here must be a PC user. On a Mac, this program is almost a bad joke! You can't even resize the windows to take advantage of screen space. And for key functions, if you have more than ONE window open, it corrupts data! While it IS seemingly laden with features, it's both confusing to actually use them and turns out to not even include things that someone actually in the business would find essential. The lack of any real documentation and the clueless, unresponsive "customer support" at a snail's pace via email (they just ignore you if you ask the wrong things) makes this a seriously unviable choice for actually committing your business data and operations to.

I have used Landlord Report for 6 months now. In general I find it very good, although some of the functions are so complex and counter-intuitive I have never used them. I like the presentation of tenant data, with amount due in rent etc, an colour coded to show who is getting behind and who is up to date. HOwever, one thing is odd: the rents are increased for all tenants on the 1st of each month, even when a tenant has rent due later in the month. This means the rent due amount shown is often wrong - having added rent which has not fallen due yet that month. I am careful and can live with it, but it is very irritating. It took 2 months of wrestling with a very unhelpful support system to discover it is designed to do this, and it was not a weird bug. Support by email (the only way, it seems) is slow and is done by different people, who often give an irrelevant "book answer" instead of actually reading the issue. Thus my evaluation is both positive and negative. Good basic product, marred by odd update of rents and awful support who don;t communicate, often just reel off a pat and irrelevant answer. I had to restate my dates issue many times before they bothered to read what I had actually said and start to deal with the issue.
