User opinions for Living Cookbook: |
| Living Cookbook | Dawo | | | | I have reviewed several recipe software and few can compete with Living Cookbook 1.3, and with the release of 1.4 shortly, I will have every feature I could ask for! And on top of it all they have a support that is unsurpassed!!! | |
| Living Cookbook | LSC | | | | Love it! Windows environment, ability to email recipes and download recipes off the internet into your cookbook, insert photos onto your recipes, orgainization of recipes easy to use, it has everything you could possibly want in a recipe software. | |
| Living Cookbook | Wendy | | | | This program rocks! I purchased the license after demoing version 1.2. Upgrades are FREE and the support is timely. This is the best program I've seen for organizing recipes and such. I've demoed my share. The Living Cookbook people have thought of just about everything and if something has been overlooked they actually want your suggestions for future updates. | |
| Living Cookbook | izé |  | | | full o.k. az egész csodálatos. ( From Hungary ) | |
| Living Cookbook | RobertoM | | | | From version 1.5 on, Living Cookbook has an intrusive and restrictive licensing system. Radium Software tracks and logs LC usage in order to authenticate/unregister the software. Their policy is 1 license for only 1 computer and this enforced with this system. Radium Software does not post clearly anywhere this policy. Some customers are tricked to purchase a second license to carry it on their laptop plus desktop. Beware! Buy BigOven instead, as I did after getting a refund. | |
| Living Cookbook | John Nymrovski | | | | Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Uninstall this program! Do not try it! Do not install it! This software installs additional tracking software on your system, which is continuously "calling home", using your internet connection and reports data collected to their ""mothership"". The fact is that you have a "live" server sitting on your PC that is sending information about you and the usage of this P.O.S. software to a remote location... Recipes bundled are full of logos from foodservice industries. They rip you off at $30 per seat/computer and you still have to pay for their bandwidth costs and read advertisement. Bad outfit caught with their pants down. Beware!!! | |
| Living Cookbook | hannah |  | | | Hello,
this software is very good. I'm a multilingual dutch-french user I am very happy with LC. Adding recipes is very simple, using categorys, searches, ... It's userfriendly. A minus point for me is that they have no language files, LC is only in english and that I find no other dutch-french speaking people to share recipes with.
I'm hoping they will once support other languages too.
>>> John Nymrovski:
I don't know where you search this, it's completely false. There are no logos and advertising in the software and it's also no server. It only connects to the internet when you use their webbrowser (that seems normal to me) and it only "calls home" WHEN you register via internet. | |
| Living Cookbook | Marge | | | | I was disappointed in this software, but it may be that I'm just not its target. I wanted software that gave me lots of options in choosing to print out my cookbook to different templates. I don't actually want to look at my recipes on a PC--I just want to print them. I went with Matilda's Fantastic Cookbook Software by CookbookPeople.com instead. |
