this program does the job pretty well, but none of my videos ever run smoothly when the camera scrolls around, as in scenery parts. otherwise, picture and sound are near perfect. wish this had more features too, because you can only rip a video in one of two resolutions, 352X288 or 760X576. the files also tend to be rather large. about 6MB per min at low resolution and 8-9MB per min at high resolution. still the best i can find.

It only spend less than 2 hours on my notebook to convert a whole DVD, the quality of AVI file is the best one in all converters I've seen. It's really a good product...

I bought version 4 from the link below (it seems there are different webpages with the same product). http://www.dvd-converter.com/ The product works great for the price, and accepts all the available codecs in your computer, even 3ivx. The results are top quality but it is hard to make the program start ripping the ifo file when the DVD is copyright protected (needs to run the DVD player for a while). I have seen many negative comments in download.com and I guess they are talking about another product or they are pissed off competitors.

BTW, The first review here (John) is an exact copy of another one in download.com. Once more, he (or she) is talking about another thing or is really sweating the competition.

Hello! I bought this program and it's a very good program worth every penny. But after 3 DVD conversions it have stopped working. I can't load the .ifo files...Can someone help me with this!

This program is such a scam! I thought that after the reviews it might be good, however, if you look at the reviews closely, all the positive ones have the same grammatical errors. The same person wrote all the positive reviews! If you go to their website, you will find those same grammar errors... Hmmm... Something fishy going on. Besides, the program doesn't even work. Don't do it! Go somewhere else!
