Customer service sucks. They will run through a lot of hoops not to give you what is right. :( False advertising and wont make bad reservations right.

1. Will charge your card despite promising otherwise on simple reservations. 2. Worst customer service ever.

Be aware! I booked a flight through Orbitz together with an airport parking. Two days later I found my airline reservation was cancelled. They didn't even bother to notify me. I called and they said they couldn't get confirmation from the airline. They said it happend when the flight was no longer available. This totally messed up my schedule and my hotel reservation. Now this leaves me a totally useless parking reservation and because it was prepaid they said they couldn't cancel it! After a couple of emails, 4 phone calls, and being transfered back and forth many times, i finally got my parking canceled, but i am so exausted. Will never use orbitz again.

This is the worst customer service ever. Incompetent representatives, hour-long wait times on hold, and all of what the above comments mention. If you want to save yourself from a nightmare, don't book through Orbitz!

I booked a flight/motel plan from Orbitz. The flight arrangements went well. The Travelodge on 6400 MOntana Ave, El Paso, Tx. was unacceptable. The information about the motel among other things said "state of the art high speed internet". When my son (for whom I booked this plan) stayed there the internet constantly broke down. When he registered a complaint about it he was told, "Oh yes, they tell us that a lot". My son was bitten all night long by bed bugs and one night had a large cochroach crawl over his leg. When he asked for another room, he was told the motel was full. He was there a full week and no room change was made. Terrible accommodations, refused to do anything about unacceptable room conditions.

Will charge you extra on your debit/credit card!! BEWARE!!!

Long story short, I got to buy a ticket from Orbitz...couldn't make the flight due to ice on the roads/winter weather advisory, and they graciously allowed me to buy another ticket. Since that was their attitude, I bought it directly from the airline...I will NEVER use another online travel service. They were not interested in making ANY effort to accomodate my situation. They were, however, happy to keep the free money I paid them.

Cruise for May 28 2009 San diego to catalina shows $109 , but when you try to call , they give you a different higher price. Its a bait and switch technique clearly. That's bad buss. practice, should be rerported .
