Hmm ... well I don't know what version or file that the folks providing negative feedback downloaded, but I've installed RegDrill on XP with no problems. As for the Program Functionality: if you don't have a good understanding of the Registry, it's architecture and limitations then you shouldn't even be contemplating a tool such as this i.e. this is a powerful administrative tool. You're not going to get some kind of 'quick fix' improvement in performance or stability or 'Tune' the registry, nor should tinkering with the Registry be a substitute for good system administration and housekeeping. The problems that RegDrill can address are those that are inherent to the design of Windows, so it's simpler (and cheaper) to either change how you are using windows or change your OS.

Not for the typical computer user. This tool is for the person who wants to get under the hood and maintain their PC. This is for the computer tech or someone who truly wishes to learn about the registry and how to maintain that part of their PC. Lazy Amateurs stay away!!!
