Big problems here in spite of generally glowing reports from IndigoRose themselves and uninformed users. Three main issues: 1) Includes "hacker" detection code that prevents the tool from operating if you have Compuware's SoftICE installed on your computer. As a software developer that uses SoftICE regularly, this is unacceptable for a "professional" tool like SetupFactory. 2) ZERO compatibility with earlier versions. I'd been using SF5.0 for some time and gave into the marketing blitz to upgrade to SF7.0. There is absolutely NO way to migrate SF5.0 to SF7.0. There is a way to convert SF5.0 to SF6.0 and then to SF7.0 but only SOME of the setup information is converted from 6.0 to 7.0. BAD BAD BAD!@! 3) IndigoRose censors the information in their user support forums. You will not find a single report of issues like these there. If you post something negative they will delete it. If you persist, they will ban you from the forum. This product is NOT recommended!
