The recovery tasks are logically laid out however the utilities are rather primative although appear to work reasonably well. Much of the documentation is only accessible via the installed program making, which is not much use if you are trying recover your system. All round not much effort has gone into the bootable disc as it references unobtainable instructions unless your PC is running, somewhat defeating the purpose this package. I rate this a lowly 1 star

NEEDS WORK: Product can't use USB mouse, PS2 OK, Partion Genious could not see external USB drive, Copy program could not copy to a NTFS format drive, only FAT32. I haven't tried all the features, but not worth $40. Has to reboot for every different tool. Email tech support fairly fast, but didn't always understand the problem, and ultimately, could not resolve the issues.

Stay away from this product and this company. I downloaded a copy and paid €€ for it. I followed the instructions and what do I get ? When trying to boot from the CD, I get a BIOS error. When I try to run the power suite from Windows, nothing happens. When I sent a support ticket (supposed to be replied within 1-2 hours), well, no reply after 36 hours. When I try to post a comment on their web site, it is refused. Again, stay away from this product. There are other products doing the same job for the same price and THEY WORK !

Worst Mistake I Ever Made!!! This software created a major nightmare for me. It crashed both my office & home computers for different reasons. I have never had a problem like this on either computer. Their "professional support team" is incompetent and is also the reason, after following their instructions, that my home computer crashed. A great product is just for me. It has nice interfaces. The clean up works very well, and I don¡¯t worry about the slow running any more. Most importantly, it helped me to get back my daughter¡¯s pictures, and it also recovered my wife¡¯s laptop. I will recommend it to any one who wants to listen.

I managed to resurrect the PC. ntoskrnl.exe was corrupt and I couldn't even boot to Safe mode. Using this product I managed to fix the problem in about 10 minutes and PC is working fine now.

I have a nice experience with it. I have ever recovered my whole system in several minutes even though I could not boot up my computer and I didn¡¯t backup anything. That is also the reason for my purchasing. And later, I find its worth again. It finds out my MS product key and keeps my system running smoothly and speedily. I have peace of mind in daily computer troubles now.

Do your homework before buying this product. This is a company based out of Hong Kong with NO support. Their website shows a really nice multi-level modern office building with an address in Humble, TX. Unfortunately, not one online phone book could come up with a phone number for them. Then I used my favorite online mapping tool (with the satellite view at street level) and looked up the given address. Lo and behold, it comes up as a bunch of tree groves for some kind of farm product. There is nothing but produce warehouses around for quite some distance. Furthermore, the tool pulls up the names of other companies at or near this address. There are about 20 different companies at/or near this address, and they are all online operations. I logged onto a few that had "reviews" and even the reviews of these bogus companies were also bad....lol STAY AWAY !!!!! If you decide you REALLY must have this software, do some research on BitTorrents and go to The Pirate Bay or a similar site to acquire it.

I bought this to restore a laptop that was going through an attempted boot cycle but would not give me any on screen text/image. It didn't work. Customer support has poor grasp of English and kept giving advice that was dependent on having on screen feedback. I gave up and took the laptop to my local computer clinic. Spotmau would not refund my purchase under their guarantee until I threatened legal action. Meanwhile, I had to block payment through my credit card. I strongly suspect that the research by the prior reviewer is correct. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I have recently purchase this software suite and had problems with XP Pro losing the "Personal Safe". As if that wasn't problem enough, tech support has been absolutely no help in resolving the issue. The filenames they ask me to look for are mis-spelled in their request and mis-spelled on my computer. There are so many errors that tech support could not find the files they needed. I did a search on my own and found the mis-spelled files in question. Once sent to tech support it has been over 72 hours without any action and responses to my questions have been along the lines of, "You will have your safe back real soon" when asked for a refund they said "Don't worry about it". I highly recommend everyone stay away from this software and would be happy to provide the script from my tech support nightmare to anyone who requests it for verification of the poor service.

My computer received a nasty virus and shut down. I'm no computer genius, and decided to get Spotmau, and try it. It took a while, but slowly but surely, I was able to get my computer back to normal by transferring my files to a free agent, then cleaning up the files from my laptop. Spotmau did wonders in saving the material I thought was long gone. There are many functions that can be performed with this software,and from what I was looking at (a big repair bill), this saved a bunch of money!

A very bad piece of software. I installed it and set it up to do a full backup. But then I found that I had no way of looking at or revising the backup I had set up. The incremental backup never worked. When I tried to contact the support desk, the reply I got back suggested they did not speak English as their first language. To add insult to injury, their website had a check box that offered free discounts. Being rather foolish, I checked that and subsequently found out I was being charged $12/mo to belong to this "discount club". If you want to buy backup software, go to a reputable vendor and don't waste your money on Spotmau. It is just bad, bad software.

Not very useful. Also, the 'Software Management' part is a bit of a fake, with false leads like the game download section with a picture and description of Sony's 'Little Big Planet' game and a link that takes you to a sales page for a ook about the game. The Windows 7 'download' link takes you to BestBuy, etc.

I made the mistake of purchasing Powersuite 2010. I have had numerous problems since installing. All requests for assistance have ended without resolution of the problem. Requests for a refund of the purchase price are met with "Don't worry we will help you" and offering extended support. Given that support is non existent this is meaningless. Avoid this software as you would a Virus.

Not very good people to do business with. For a so called big company they don't seem very clued up on computers. the software did not do what I was lead to believe. So I politely asked for a refund and they have tried all ways they can think of to refuse me. Yes their disk dose Boot up most computers, but then the limited software on it is virtual useless, Also when you confront them they come back in a confusing manner and in broken English as though they are not sure of what to say .. My advice is Do not part with your money this product is not worth it A very good write up for a very little product. Please read other write ups. Therefor I do not rate it at all . NO STARS, AND NEGATIVE.

Please, stay away from these people. Itself, spotmau suite2010 is not bad ... still fails to do in my case registry recover or raw recover as part of thefeatures and functions of the software. Support is awful. The representatives are clueless. One representative told me to wait she was chatting with 4 people, and English just like mine is not their first language.When i asked" you are chatting at the same time? he/ she replied: "yes" then without notice he /she said:"I have no time. I have to say goodbye". Can you believe it? When manager HIMSELF joined in, and explained concerns I had, said threateningly:"so just let it go"..... I give spotmau software some credit but their help and support "department" is a joke to say the least. Stay away, if you can. Sometimes its important you know you are dealing with the right people than saving a few dollars.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you very much. This NEW Golden version is the TOPS! One system that was causing many problems and I thought that I was going to lose all the data is now working GREAT, thanks to Spotmau. There were more than 300 errors the Spotmau found and corrected. The system seems to be working like it was 5 years ago. I no longer need to think that I need a new system. This has to be one of the BEST programs out on the market. It has saved me LOTS of $$$$’s! I bought their Password Kit to retrieve the login password for a deceased friend's laptop. Obviously, I could not run the program if I could not log on. Web site has no instructions other than it's easy to use and instructions would appear when the program was run. Copied program to formatted CD and attempted to boot from it without luck. Gave up and installed a new copy of Window 7. Trying to get my money back under their supposed 90-day money-back guarantee has turned into a series of non responses, followed by requests for information only after I send a nasty email, followed my more silence which ends with more questions after I send another email, ad nauseam. They obviously have no intention of returning my money and, in my opinion, are certainly less than honest in the way they treat customers. I would not download freeware from these clowns!

Great response and assitance from tech support. I did not have my Windows software to do a reinstall/repair so I could not use the program to solve my problem, but the support and response time from Spotmau was very fast and friendly. As per the money back guarantee, refund was issued. Wish more companies had support like this.
