| | Has more bang for the buck than most of the alternatives. I'd prefer a more standard user interface, but I got used to it. The main problem is stability. Projects become corrupted and strange error messages occur. It has caused me a lot of frustration, but I still think it's the best of the current cheap options. |

| | The installation process was flawless, the file creation and management went fine, the preview looked good; however the program kept locking up everytime I tried to create a DVD. I reinstalled the program and used different video files and always had the same problem. Why should I upgrade from a trial version if it won't do what it was designed for? |

| | I have seen other DVD programs in action and quit honestly, you can't do better than this one. I had made my first DVD in 10 minutes using DVDWS's templates. Then another 20 minutes gave me my very own customized DVD with motion menus and backgrounds! Seriously, without spending $1,000 more, you can't even touch DVDWS's features and usability |

| | Much better than the poopy Sonic MyDvd software that cam bundled with my hp dvd 200i. Support for multiple menus, background music, and motion menus, as well as the ability to customize frames. |

| | I tried to put a video file on another cd, however when I played the video the picture quality was extremely poor. Then I tried to uninstall the program manually, and a window came up saying this program was linked to other programs in my computer, which could quite possibly stop working if I completely removed it.

| | I've used DVDW1 and now have bought DVDW2 - my only gripe is that the slideshow functionality is very poor. Not all the quoted still image formats are supported in all their compression types. This causes some images to be displayed as three small images across the top of the screen. For a relatively expensive package, this is not good enough. If you just want to edit and compile video it is an ideal solution. However , if you need to include slideshows in your projects, you would be better off investing in a much cheaper package which can cope with still images reliably. |
