Works good. Nice GUI. Easy to use, but for $40 Webroot can kiss my sassafras. This isnt worth forty dollars, come on. When are these companies going to stop putting out the small programs (2.53Mb) and trying to charge $40. $40, thats insane. Windows XP Home is $99. Ill use WW 5.0, but im gonna use it free.

This produst is great, I wish I would of heard about of it before,It would of saved me alot of money, spend on a new hard drive and time spend dealing with a slow system. This product is great for someone who spends alot of time on the internet , for example after each wash it recovers all the space I used, and personally after every wash I enjoy seeing the amount of space used on hard disk go back up to a desirable amount , it keeps my system running like new !

Just tried the latest version off their site. Ran it, then tried to recover files from the IE cash...recovered every one. The older versions I could not recover with an undelete program. Use version 4.8.

I would not reccomend Webroot software to anyone. I have had a terrible time dealing with there tech. support. I have used two of there programs, one of which was window washer. The program worked ok up to a point and thereafter I began having errors come up. My registry and other areas are good to go, so it must be a internal aspect within there software; either way, don't waste your time and money.

I checked to see if it was cleaning my temp files because I also use Advanced Uninstaller Pro to clean up programs tracks that Window Washer doesnt. I noticed everytime I ran Adv. Unistaller after using WW and restarting computer, it always had a huge list of temp files to clean. I tested the program out as far as some of it's cleaning processes and it's not cleaning what its suppose to. 6.0 was better. Basically I just bought a lemon upgrade. Support also sucks because you can email them but they either wait a week or two to get back to you and its just a automatic response or they just don't answer. I used to love WW and have been a big fan up until the past two years. I've also paid a yearly subscription since it came out, so I could always have the newest version. Last year I payed again and they didn't update it once...then when my subscription was up this year, they sent a notice that a new version was and I needed to pay again. Webroot...you need to get your act together.
