| White Smoke | Paul |  | | | Whitesmoke is absolutely horrible. Buy it if you want to waste your money and want to ruin your writing. The software often crashed Microsoft Word and locks up Windows. I believe their product is a crime because they mislead developing writers who don't know better. Don't waste your money, I was very dissatisfied.

Thesaurus suggestions are often inappropriate. It misses the most basic spelling and grammar errors. It is simply a waste of money. It made my my word program frozen.
Also, I tried to contact them by Email, they never look at customer's mail. It just return with the same maessge, "thank you for contacting us, click below link ... etc." Even if I click the link, and send another message, it comes with the same message "thank you for contacting us..." They are just deceivers, and thieves. | |

| White Smoke | Skip | | | | This is by far the worst program I have ever used. Twenty years ago I started with Grammatik. That was, and still is an add-on in most writing programs. I reveived their adverisement in the email and thought I could improve my writing skills, so I purchased their program. It was a problem from the start. Conflicts in my system, lock ups, no memory, etc. Then I noticed that I only received one program, when I had ordered their two program offer. I sent several emails and only received one response from support. The response was; "we received your email and will contact you in a day." They never answered even after three emails. I then proceeded to ask for a refund. After four emails, still no answers. If you look for any telephone contact forget it, there are no telephone numbers in any literature. Most of my first emails were returned undeliverable. It was then I used ther email ads under "reply," that I reached a deliverable address. I finally sent a fax to marketing and no answer. Now three weeks later, I called my credit card to dispute the charge and ask for a refund. Now I am told that they credited my account seven days ago. This horrible experience has taken over three weeks and absolute silence on the part of Whitesmoke. Not only is the program a farce, but the business practice of this company is deceitful. |
