Whitesmoke really works at spotting grammar and spelling mistakes. The pop-up window helps u fix errors as you make them, so you edit as u go. I'm happy with the product (I have the General Writing version). Two thumbs up.

Since downloading the WhiteSmoke software, I have discovered a quick and correct way of writing with no mistakes. Great help, this software. I really enjoy using the templates which cover most topics that one uses for social, business, C.V's, celebrations and more. All that is needed is to copy and paste the required templates and it is a great time saver and they are written better than I could do on my own.

The thing I like most about this software is how easily it works. The color coding makes it clear. Each color represents a different corrections. Spelling, grammar, style. Easy to pick up. There is a nice option of getting an explanation for why WhiteSmoke chooses a specific word. A lesson of it's own. The support service is good. I needed to call them about a download and also about payment. Excellent service.

The software requires contact with the central server to work. About half the time, the server seems to be down now. Very annoying. To add insult to injury, there is absolutely no support now. I got disgusted and ask for a refund, but of course they never responded to that either. I am writing this to warn people. I am not the type to run around looking for something to wine about. STAY AWAY from their products!
