Pros: Before I know about WinAVI, I tried a few to convert rm files. Most take a long time - almost as long as the clip duration. Gave up trying and resorted to recording real-time directly to my DVD recorder. Then decided to search for another converter. Found WinAVI. Read reviews and was put off initially by some reviews. Figured I should give it a try anyway. Boy, was I impressed! WinAVI IS fast. Also on some files, the converted file sync better (video + audio) than the rm file played via realplayer! Will continue trying it to see if any problems surfaced. Cons: None uncovered so far.
