Of limited value. So far as I can tell (I am neither newbie nor expert) this program merely simplifies task of backing up and restoring your registry, instead of doing a regscan/restore at C prompt. This may alone justify the $29. price. However, during the trial period, I crashed and was not able to boot to windows. It was not as simple as typing "WINSAFE" at the c prompt as the program promises. Typing WINSAFE only brings up a series of instructions which were not very clear to me given my level of computer expertise. Nonetheless, I went through the steps and after two hours of trying had to reinstall Windows anyway.
