Very disappointed. No difference was made to my pc after using this product. I'e spent money and wasted hours following instructions sent to me. I am still pestered by pop ups to a ridiculous degree and I have a toolbar that is'nt wanted and won't go. If anyone can help please email me. Thanks Fiona

Run from this garbage program! I got scammed into buying this worthless program by doing a free scan that came up with a false list of things it said were on my computer. They scare you into buying this program for 40 dollars using deceptive practices. There is no contact info for the company. Run!

Ahem well i just used this cuz i was directed to the site when browsing forums for help. I have to say i was quite impressed. Not only did it find the little buggers that was causing me so much stress (all the other spyware tools failed) but it did it much quicker too ;) thumbs up

XoftSpy got rid of the nasty worms and real bad viruses Spybot and AVG Free could not permanently remove. So for those with a problem - get over it Peter, New Zealand

After submitting a question on Yahoo answ/quest. about annoying winfixer continually popping up and freezing computer, as well as numerous pop ups and computer running slowly, I was answered with a web site that promoted Xoftspy. I then installed Xoftspy and had computer scanned, I was very pleased with the end result as I had fewer pop ups and no more winfixer and the internet connection was running much faster, even though I had Norton security now for a year (still installed and running), I knew I needed something that would be more effective in removing viruses ect..and Xoftspy has been very effective, and I also just recently installed another antivirus product just to be safer!! it doesnt hurt to be safe

The other writer is correct in that there is apparently no way to contact this company. While the software does identify and allow you to remove a lot spyware "threats", it does not provide for a method of blocking known threats or ones that it has previously identified. It just keeps re-finding the same cookies, etc. each time you run it. They are probably new additions since the last scan but what pain... a very reactive instead of proactive approach to spyware control.

Xoftspy may not be utterly worthless, but it comes real darn close. Do not be fooled by bogus positive reviews from people claiming it's the best thing ever. These reviews are posted by people who make money from Xoftspy's "affiliate" program, and have a vested interest in getting as many people as possible try it out. Don't trust these anonymous and unverifiable reviews. Read REAL reviews, read forum discussions, use Google to search USENET for messages about this product.
