| | Here's an insight.Up until a few weeks ago this was a tremendous all round game, behaviour and cheating was kept in check by a highly professional bunch of Mods, who exercise powers cautiously and objectively.
Quite often, it was frustrating, as management, against Mods wishes, reinstated serial cheats and abusers.We are talking about vile abuse here- racist sexist foul abusive language etc.These abusers were re-instated frequently.
Then an issue arose amongst management whereby, as a matter of principal, A number of these experienced Mods resignrd. I was one of them.
this culminated in a number of these Mods inexplicably being banned from the game, for no good reason whatsoever. I myself, in defence of one of these Mods made certain representations in the games Forum. I did not identify any individuals, nor outline any of the facts. The result? I too am now permanantly banned from the game.
Never, ever have I used language or behaviour other than appropriate.Yet peole, who continue to cheat and use vile language are still playing.
The problem is, the present administration, who for some perverse reason saw others as a threat, have chosen to overcome that perceived threat by invoking an effective silence.This used to be a great game with a great community spirit which was ruined when these present people took overall command of the game.A brilliant concept has been absolutely ruined due to the autocratic style now in place.Do You want to be cheated, suffer abuse and taunts? go ahead and subscribe, but dont dare to complain, because you get banned for daring to do so, with little chance of recovering Your Money. |

Instead of being defensive all the tie, listen with an open mind to what is being said and the reasons why. No-one is asking for anything unreasonable or implying that we alienate Guests and Trialists. We just want the fairness back in the game that we' are paying for.
Guest isn't guest anyway. It's just a way of playing for free, whilst sacrificing the Ranking system etc. I have only played a couple of tourneys since I started. It's regular games I play. If you want to have a proper Guest system then let's have it so a Members has to sign them in. A Member can log in and when their Guest comes to login they enter a Members name, who then has to approve them. Each Member could have the ability to sign in 3 guests or something.
I hear what people are saying about sometimes coming on as Guests for practice and non-ranked games, but why can't we simply have the option to set a table as a non-ranking game whilst signed in properly?

I was lucky enough to see your post before it was removed. Thanks for the warning, at least that is one person I'll be avoiding. They obviously don't have a conscience let alone know anything about sportsmanship.
Appears you might get some satisfaction via emailing the Admin team, so keep us informed on the progress! Seems as long as you don't mention names you can write about all sorts of things here.

I presume you will take the unnamed person by the hand, and lead them to a councelling room, feed them the line of ' be nice to the members and they'll be nice to you'.
Keep hope that they change their attitude and then fork out money to join after 21 days! Seems the only people you can actually 'deal-to' are the paying customers as their account can be banned! So there's another 'added bonus' for being a fully financial member.
You people just aren't listening to the underlying problems.
The system has some loopholes that rascals are sneaking through, and you are the only people in a position to remedy them. Either fix the holes or give the members a way out of having to face these people on a daily basis (and I don't mean by banning us!).

The game is basically brilliant and is the best snooker game ever to hit the net however, in the past 3 months there has been a change of management which, in my opinion, has ruined the game beyond repair. If it continues the way it is, it can only fail and be lost for ever which would be a terrible shame. I for one will not renew again unless there is a reversal of the style of management currently being employed. |

| | I don't mind telling anyone here I am a moderator for iSnooker and that's before and after the administration changes. This is by far the best online game I have played and whilst there are some problems controlling trial players making multiple trial accounts (some of whom have posted here in the negative due to permanent bans)and a few bugs in the program, all in all the majority of members are happy with the progression of the game. It is a great place to meet new friends, have a friendly game and a laugh if you take it for what it is (a game).
The administration are constantly monitoring and changing the moderator team and seeking ideas on how to improve the game for the greater good of all who play it. A minority of the members (as with any society)seem to take great delight in agitating for what they see as their rights. To those few (very few) I have to say I agree with the response "if you don't like it go somewhere else". Nobody is forcing anyone to play here!! Most of us play here because we love it and we don't get all serious about the game or the odd glitch here and there.
Moderators on this site are unpaid and happily give of their own free time to help out genuine people with the game. What they don't tolerate is repeat offenders who think of themselves as bigger than the game or smarter than the programmers.
To sir_ryan (a permanently banned player with a penchant for multiple accounts and abusive behaviour) you deserve what you got. In fact you got a lot less than I would have given you if I owned the company. Don't go around bad mouthing this game or any game for that matter until you learn the meaning of good sportsmanship and decent behaviour.

i recommend this game to anyone..i have played it now for a long time and i would have recommended it even if i wasnt a mod great game great for making new friends and relaxing...come in guys give it a go make yer own minds up. |

| | what can i say!!! the best game on the net to date....always new features coming into the game to improve it.i recommend this game to anyone...however i was a member when the admin issue occured and i was good friends with one of the admin who left and good friends with most of the moderaotrs who resigned i did carry on talking to them and i still keep in touch with some of them although no where near as frequently.......now though my chances of becoming a moderator on the game are very slim because i still talk to some of these at times which in my opinion is rather unfair but i will try my best to improve my chances and do something i have always wanted to do on the game....be a moderator....and i also wish the admin issue never occured as the game had a downhill period afterwards and i lost touch with a few friends.......btw L.C.F.C ROCKS lmao thanx craig |

This game is THE BEST snooker game you will ever find...anywhere. I'm not just saying that because i am a Mod on the game i am saying that because this is what i belive the situation is. If anyone can honestly tell me of a better snooker game with equall physics and gameplay then i will try it but there isnt one.
I play snooker in real life and have found that iSnooker has improved my real game and given me a way of practising at home without having to spend thousands on a real table. Its great for seeing how a certain shot will turn out so that i can take that onto the real table.
The community has really been developing over the last year or so and this is why i created the fansite for the game with all the tips, trickshots and members photo's. If there wasnt a community i would have done this.
It is a great place for meeting people and having some relaxing time. We do alot for charities and hold tournaments to raise money which everyone can enjoy.There are also regular monthly cash winning events.
There isnt one piece of software that is bug proof (just ask bill gates) but things are improving every step of the way.
If you would like to join a great community with even greater potential give iSnooker a go. |

Another perfect example of a disgruntled player. This guy and his friend were joining tournaments and threatening to hack players if they didn't let them win. The IP address I posted belonged to his friend who had already threatened to hack me and claimed to have information about my computer. BTW I posted it on a table with only the two of these "cretins" watching. It was intended to scare them off and since they were both "trial" players in their first 14 days I think they should consider themselves lucky if they are ever allowed back on the game.
Read the rules of behaviour, do your best to stick to them, make some new friends and have a good time playing the best game on the net.
If you are like our friend above we categorically do not want you anywhere near our game!!!

Was browsing the net earlier and came across a site where ppl added their views on isnooker, so other ppl could decide wether to try it out or not.
It does not look good. Too many by far negative comments, to do about everything actually, from the players, all the way to admin.
I wouldnt be in a rush to try this game out if i'd only read what is said, so i doubt many others would either.
But we can do something about it!
I want all those who post on here, to go to the link, read the comments, then at the bottom, theres a section where you can have your say about the game and give it a positive mark. (You dont even have to sign in!)
So come on, with our ppl power, we can turn this around and make isnooker look appealing to the newcomers!

| | I've been playing isnooker for about 15 months and it is by far the best snooker game on the net. There are one or two minor bugs but Admin are sorting those out which will make the game even better. There have been occassions with bad language ib the lobby but these have been dealt with by the Mods effectively. It would seem that the negative comments on this forum about isnooker have been posted by ex-members who have been banned for abusing the rules and generally behaving like idiots. Try the game, its is very good and very addictive and there are a great bunch of people willing to help. |

| | i am also a moderator on isnooker and i cant praise it enough. i have been playing this game for approx 2 years and have never tired of it. it is clear that the moaners r the ppl who cant abide by the rules and therefore spit their dummies out and have a tantrum. ( i can only assume this makes them feel better) Admin do a gr8 job in my opinion and this game goes from strength to strength. long live isnooker!!!!!! |

If you flick through the forum you will also notice that one of the so called admin says he will answer suggestions feedback daily ... nothing seen since thay post ... shocker! nothing in months.
Ont top of that you will also notice in the feedback section that most if not all problems are answered by other paying members which shows how little regard is held for the poor people that actually get conned into playing this game. |

i was reading the ipool forum (very very bored lol) this morning while waiting for my next tournament game and i came across a post about all the new features on their new version
eg virtual money to buy text colours
i was wondering if this will be coming out for isnooker on the version next released or in one at a later date?
i know it definitely is coming out for snooker as brandon said before the elite tournament started
if it is out in a later version than the next one then does this mean ipool is concentrated on more by admin? i can only assume it is if the answer is a later version unless ipool just needs looking after more as they are a set of trouble causers (joke you ipool players)

I have got to say a realy good idea from trojan seems to have run it's course. There are alot of people who would like to see this game fail and they are not going to let the genuine fans of isnooker fight back and have their say, without ridicule and spam. We all know how good this game is, we also now know that there are lots of people who would like to cause it problems (exmods exadmin banned players and so on). it is said there that they can come on as guests and basicaly do as they please to try and disrupt the game aswell. The most important thing about this game is the players, come on enjoy it and take it as it is because it is all of you that makes it great.

| | although this is a negative.. there are gr8 points.. and whats the bet that after this i get banned.. every ban (2) which i have rexcieved have been fair. through coming on drunk and gobbing off. its a gr8 game and although i dont mind the guests. 18 tbles of guests playing each other when they only get same game allowances as in guest lobby is annoying.. they still cant chat or anything.. trialists!... are fine Mutli trialists are w**k**s but u can always choose not to play them.. admin team... ok, nice people to talk to. just a shame u cant giv your own opinion in lobby and u cant have ur say when u want to explain. and when u get a ban for gobbing they only send u an "edited " version of what uv said. they tend to leave out the middle chat which wld resolve reasons behind your gobbing. when u ask to c what you wrote.. fair enough u wrote something but it has been pulled from 5 different convos ur having. u cld call some one a cheat then say oo i missed the black.. all of a sudden uv bin banned for calling someone a cheating black bast***.. on the good side. as long as u dont abuse people and get on u will make friends and bar a few mods who arnt old enough for college and head mods there is a really gr8 mod team they are.. mrjimi, nice_one, cornish pasty, and pasties_wife, shifty, wizard, everton, rich, stu jang, (justanicgal).. these do the game credit.. and as good as they are even thebest mod in the world cld not credit the admin team as a whole. yet individually. brandon and marilee are good to talk to.. thats my view and will c u all after my ban for posting this..:P |
