This program is free for locking only 5 folders. It takes a full 10 seconds to exit the Interface after locking a file, all the while urging you to pay if you want the full version. It is limited to only 5 free folders, so it is not completely free as they claim it to be.

This Program works excellent however
they could have left out the exit delay.
It's already crippled by only allowing
no more than five folders to be cloaked at a time. In my opinion Instant lock freeware is only a demo.

Perhaps I was a bit hasty in my previous opinion. The company did reply and the problem was sorted out by uninstalling the program.

HELP!! I have come to hate this program.The trial version has locked up and will not allow access unless I pay for full version.Can anyone out there offer any advise as the company wont reply to my emails xx

BEWARE THIS IS MALL WARE and it will hijack your files
I have downloaded the software and installed it on my system, i have used with no major issues until the trail period expired then the software had locked and my files kept hidden with no ability to get them back until i pay for full version, this is a scam practice more then that i could no longer uninstall the software, it is using a hijacking technique exactly like ad ware and spy ware. needless to add that I was able to find my files in no time with little digging on my drive and using the same manual methods that I use to remove Hijackers i was able to delete the scam software from my system.

Instant Lock is a slimy program. they give u a free trial, let u lock your important files and them it "experiences difficulties" crushes and holds your files hostage and trys to force u to buy the full one to get support.It dosnt even do what it says, it just moves the files into the volume information folder.If you have had a run-in with this u can use Treesize free to get into the folders.

BEWARE!!! Like many have said before THIS IS SCAMWARE!!!! My files got locked after the trial run out and I had to buy the program to unlock them. I got in touch with Plimus who deal with all of Instant Lock's payments (through my credit card company) and Instant Lock via Plimus gave me a 10 cent credit and Bullsh*t about all questions being answered in the FAQs - which they aren't. I then got back in touch with Plimus and got my money fully refund. If you have been scammed get in touch with Plimus too... Pretty soon Plimus will realise what SCAM mongers this lot are!!!!
