Brussels, Belgium - (February 1st, 2009) A new Web surfing tool allows computer users to surf anonymously on the Internet. AVSoftware, Ltd., a publisher of many privacy software titles has released a major update of its anonymous web browsing software called Anonymous Web Surfing.

IP, or Internet Protocol, refers to the unique number attached to every computerâ€”sort of like an address used to locate a home. Advertisers, spammers, hackers, identity thieves, and government agencies routinely collect and use IP addresses to find names, street addresses, and other personal information. By using privacy software like Anonymous Web Surfing, users can prevent their IP address getting out logged in websites they visit, thereby protecting their computer and maintaining their privacy.

Anonymous Web Surfing allows users to surf anonymously by installing an IP address making them invisible in Internet. Users can then appear to be from various locations in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, and many more. Users can also conceal their IP address in dozens of other programs such as IM, ICQ, Outlook, and other Internet-based software.
