NETsec, a german software vendor, published a new utility for IT- admninistrators called Enterprise Permission Reporter.

One of the main tasks in todayÂ´s administration is answering logical questions about abstract environments. These questions are usually asked by non-IT departments and can look like Who has which access to the Documents-Folder of Department X or Where can User XY access to?
EPR reports user-based (you dont need to resolve group memberships) and overall a companys server file resources (shares, dfs and volumes).
It is simple to install, easy to use, fair in price.
